At TGS, we love finding creative ways to make each piece meaningful. For this thoughtful family gift, the customer provided handwritten signatures from each family member, which we combined and engraved on the underside of the cutting board. The engraving was placed on the bottom because it creates a slight indentation in the wood, which could interfere with the chopping surface.
A recessed handhold is routed into each side of the board, providing a comfortable grip without interrupting its clean profile.
